What sling options do you offer with hoyer lift rentals?

Our hoyer lift rentals include a full-body sling by default. We also offer toileting slings, commode slings, and leg-divided slings in multiple sizes. Call our team to choose the right sling for your patient’s needs.

Do hoyer lift rentals include slings?

Yes. Every hoyer lift rental includes a standard full-body sling. Additional sling types—such as commode slings, toileting slings, or divided-leg slings—are available in different sizes for added comfort and safety.

Are hoyer lifts useful for bathroom hygiene and bathing?

Yes. With the right sling, hoyer lifts can be used to help patients transfer safely into bathrooms or showers, improving hygiene while protecting caregivers.

Can a hoyer transfer chair be used for bathroom transfers?

Yes! Our hoyer transfer chairs are commonly used to safely move patients to and from the bathroom. These rentals help caregivers handle hygiene routines with greater safety and comfort.

What is the difference between a hoyer Lift and a Stand Up Patient Lift?

A hoyer Lift is a full-body lift that uses slings to transfer patients who cannot bear weight at all. A Stand Up Patient Lift, on the other hand, is for patients who can partially bear weight and need safe assistance standing. We rent both options with same-day delivery available.

What is the difference between Sit to Stand Lifts and Stand Assist Aids?

Sit to Stand Lifts are powered and often use slings to lift patients, while Stand Assist Aids are simpler devices that provide manual or supported standing assistance. Both are available for rent with same-day delivery in Houston.

Can a hoyer transfer chair help with bathing or hygiene needs?

Yes. Transfer chairs make it safer to move patients for bathroom use or bathing, reducing fall risks and caregiver strain. They are highly recommended for homecare situations.

What medical supplies and equipment are commonly FSA/HSA eligible?

Many commonly eligible items include bathroom safety products (shower chairs, commodes, raised toilet seats), mobility aids (walkers, rollators, canes), wound care supplies, incontinence products, braces/supports, and select respiratory supplies. Your plan determines what qualifies, so we can guide you to commonly eligible options and provide the proper receipt documentation.

Are hoyer lifts suitable for bathroom or toilet transfers?

Yes. Our patient lifts make bathroom and toilet transfers safer for people with limited mobility. Many families use them to reduce fall risks and give patients more dignity and comfort during daily care.

Are battery-operated Stand Up Lifts reliable for everyday home use?

Yes! Our battery-operated Stand Up Lifts are built for daily use, with smooth lifting power, locking casters for stability, and secure slings for patient safety. They make home care safer for caregivers and more comfortable for patients. We stock top-rated models available for both rent and purchase, and we can deliver them the same day—even after hours if needed.

What payment options do you accept for standing frame rentals?

E Care Medical Supplies accepts multiple payment options for standing frame rentals, including credit card, FSA, HSA, Zelle, and more. Our goal is to make the rental process easy and accessible. Please consult your therapist or doctor before use. Call (713)695-4939 to reserve a stander rental today.

How does a Sit to Stand Lift actually work?

A Sit to Stand Lift assists patients in moving from a chair or bed into a standing position safely. Featuring padded knee supports, secure belts, and smooth lifting action, it allows safe transfers without caregiver strain. Available for rent with same-day or after-hours delivery.

Are Sit to Stand Lifts a good option for patients with weak legs?

Yes. Sit to Stand Lifts are built for elderly patients with leg weakness who can still bear partial weight. They make transfers safer and less stressful for both patients and caregivers. Rentals include same-day or after-hours delivery.

Can I use FSA and HSA benefits for a medical equipment rental at E Care Medical Supplies?

Yes! Many customers use their FSA and HSA benefits for an eligible medical equipment rental. Eligibility depends on your plan, but we can help you choose the right rental, provide proper receipts, and guide you through buying medical equipment using FSA and HSA when purchasing makes more sense.

What is included when I rent a stander for paraplegic person?

When you rent a standing frame for paraplegics from E Care Medical Supplies, you receive a high quality adaptive device that helps people stand safely for therapy and daily use. Our rentals are flexible for short or long term needs, and we offer fast same day delivery throughout Houston and surrounding areas, as well as Austin, Dallas, Beaumont, San Antonio, and Galveston. Please consult a therapist or doctor before use. Call (713)695-4939 for details.

1st time renting a Lift Chair Recliner so we weren’t sure what to expect but the company website is pretty easy to navigate and once I heard back from them, the rest was easy. The chair was delivered the same day and was promptly set up. Aron was great, he went through the remote features and explained everything! Exceptional Customer Service!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with E Care Medical Supplies! My mother recently had surgery, and we needed a medical recliner for her recovery. We called this morning, and they immediately made arrangements to have it delivered by 2 PM the very same day!

A special thank-you to Nick, who drove an hour to deliver the chair, brought it inside, set everything up, and patiently walked us through how to use it. He was incredibly kind, professional, and thorough.

When you’re caring for a loved one after surgery, this level of responsiveness, compassion, and service means the world. From start to finish, E Care made the entire process effortless. Thank you, Nick and the E Care team, for going above and beyond! Highly recommend!

The personnel who helped un on the phone were super. The equipment was delivered on time and picked up on time for return by a very nice young man named Aron. Super group of people to work with and based on my experience, I highly recommend them.

From the initial contact with E Care Medical Supplies (store visit with Ms. Kelsey) to the delivery of the lift chair that we purchased ( Golden Technology Cloud) we have been incredibly impressed with the company and its representatives. Ms. Kelsey was exceptionally knowledgeable about the various chairs and the features that they provided. The White Glove Delivery team of James and Aron was flawless. They were prompt and very methodical with the setup of the chair. Mr. James reviewed the operation of the chair with us to make sure that the chair was fully functional and working properly. He very patiently answered every question that we had on our list and had my husband to sit in and demonstrate the controls/use of the chair. We are very pleased that we chose E Care Medical Supplies for our purchase and will definitely consider them for any future purchases if needed.

My parents purchased a lift recliner from eCare for my dad. There were a lot of chair options and fabric/colors to choose from. Delivery was made in the Navasota/Hempstead area with no problem. My parents could not be there for delivery so my husband was there. James and Aron provided exceptional service. Not only did they go through all the details about the chair with my husband, but they also let him FaceTime my mom and went over it all again with her. They also took time to answer all the questions she had.

They’re these gentle, sturdy supports that make transferring so much safer and easier for everyone involved. Suddenly, those daily tasks didn't feel so overwhelming, and my dad could keep his dignity and independence a little longer.
