My daughter and I needed some specialty medical equipment after my wife fell and broke her hip. E Care Medical Supplies had the equipment and we made arrangements for delivery over the phone. The personnel who helped un on the phone were super. The equipment was delivered on time and picked up on time for return by a very nice young man named Aron. Super group of people to work with and based on my experience, I highly recommend them.

From the initial contact with E Care Medical Supplies (store visit with Ms. Kelsey) to the delivery of the lift chair that we purchased ( Golden Technology Cloud) we have been incredibly impressed with the company and its representatives. Ms. Kelsey was exceptionally knowledgeable about the various chairs and the features that they provided. The White Glove Delivery team of James and Aron was flawless. They were prompt and very methodical with the setup of the chair. Mr. James reviewed the operation of the chair with us to make sure that the chair was fully functional and working properly. He very patiently answered every question that we had on our list and had my husband to sit in and demonstrate the controls/use of the chair. We are very pleased that we chose E Care Medical Supplies for our purchase and will definitely consider them for any future purchases if needed.

My parents purchased a lift recliner from eCare for my dad. There were a lot of chair options and fabric/colors to choose from. Delivery was made in the Navasota/Hempstead area with no problem. My parents could not be there for delivery so my husband was there. James and Aron provided exceptional service. Not only did they go through all the details about the chair with my husband, but they also let him FaceTime my mom and went over it all again with her. They also took time to answer all the questions she had.

James delivered my lift chair today ahead of my shoulder surgery tomorrow morning. Was exactly on time as he said he would be. Very pleasant young man who was very polite and had my chair set up and ready in just a short time. He explained all the details and gave me a rundown on how everything worked. After a few minutes of conversation on how I hurt my shoulder and it was while gator hunting in September. Well that’s when he found out I had been on Swamp People. I gave him a little tour of my shop and explained a little bit of what I do. If every business had an employee like James, they would always have customers. I know that I will probably be having surgeries as long as I keep going wide open and will use this company when me or my family needs medical equipment. Thanks again James for the conversation and look forward to seeing you again in a month!!!

Measuring Guide Seat Depth Measure from the most posterior point of the body to the inside of the knee, minus at least two inches. Some prefer more leg overhang to make room for their hand when lifting their leg. Back Height Measured from the seat base to the top of the chair back. Power wheelchair riders need upper back support, particularly for the moment of initial acceleration. Hanger Angle Determines how far the toes extend away from the body, measured from the horizontal. A tighter angle allows the electric power wheelchair to turn around in less space. Depends in part on ability of the knee to bend towards the perpendicular. Seat Width Determined by the widest point of the body from knee to hip, plus an inch to ensure room to move. Consider bulk of clothing, particularly a heavy winter coat, if relevant. Front Seat to Floor Measure the leg from the back of the knee to the sole of the foot. Then subtract the thickness of the cushion when it is compressed. Next, add a minimum of two inches for footrest clearance. Electric power wheelchairs are almost never foot-propelled by the user - so excluding the additional two inch footrest height for propelling is very rare. Note Price includes seat up to 24" width X 24" deep. For larger seats, there will be an upcharge. Seats are available up to 32"W x 28"D. Mobility scooters and mobility power wheelchairs serve similar purposes but have key differences. E Care Medical Supplies offers rentals for both options with flexible short and long term plans, same day delivery, and after hours service in Houston, Sugar Land, Pearland, Pasadena, The Woodlands, and major Texas cities like Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, Beaumont, and Galveston. Choosing between a mobility scooter and a power wheelchair rental depends on your mobility needs. Scooters are great for outdoor travel, vacations, and longer distances with easy maneuverability. It depends on the senior’s mobility needs. A power scooter rental is excellent for seniors who can sit upright and want a convenient option for shopping, vacations, or outdoor use. A power wheelchair rental is better for seniors with limited strength, arthritis, or balance issues because it provides more support and control indoors and outdoors. Both rentals are available for short or long term periods and delivered across Houston, Galveston, Beaumont, Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas. Call (713)695-4939 or visit our showroom to reserve.
Both rentals help with mobility, but they serve different needs. A power scooter rental is great for individuals who can sit upright, have some upper body strength, and want to enjoy outdoor activities or vacations like the Houston Rodeo, cruises, or festivals. Power scooters often have a longer battery range but need more space to turn indoors. A power wheelchair rental, on the other hand, is designed for individuals who need more daily mobility support, including those with balance issues or chronic conditions. Power wheelchairs are compact, turn sharply in tight spaces, and many models disassemble for easy travel. Both are available for short or long term rental with same day or after hours delivery. Call our showroom at (713)695-4939 or after hours at (713)321-9500 to reserve your rental today.
